Green Aqua GH/KH Plus is a premium water treatment formulated to raise both general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) while helping to keep pH levels stable. Balanced GH and KH are key to supporting a healthy aquarium environment, particularly in soft water tanks that lack mineral-rich substrates or decor. A must-have for aquarists using soft, RO, or demineralised water.

Dosage: 2 g raises GH by 4 dH, KH by 2 dH, and TDS by approximately 70 ppm per 20 litres. For accurate dosing, use a TDS meter or a GH/KH test kit. The formula contains no added sodium.

Apply by sprinkling directly into the filter outflow or dissolve in a separate container before adding to the aquarium. A 1g measuring spoon is included for convenience (1g is a heaped spoon)

Product Highlights:

  • Balanced Remineralisation: Gently raises GH and KH in tandem for healthy plants, fish, and invertebrates—ideal for lush growth and stable water conditions.

  • Simple and Precise Dosage: Use a reliable test kit to confirm hardness levels. Measure accurately, dissolve before dosing, and use the included spoon for hassle-free application.

Benefits of GH/KH Balance:

  • Enhances Plant & Shrimp Health: Supports essential physiological processes—nutrient uptake, shell strength, and molting—while encouraging robust root and foliage development.

  • Stabilises pH: A balanced KH helps buffer against pH swings, ensuring a consistent and safer aquatic environment.

How to Use:

  1. Test your aquarium water using a GH/KH kit.

  2. Use the included measuring spoon to add the correct amount to a container of RO water.

  3. Stir to dissolve, then add to your tank slowly.

  4. Re-test to confirm you've reached your target hardness levels.
