Tropica 1-2 Grow Bucephalandra kedagang
The ‘Kedagang’ is a variety of the Bucephalandra family originating from Borneo and surrounding areas.
Appearance
It is characterised by long, narrow, dark green leaves with white dots. The leaf can be 1-2 cm wide and up to 6 cm long. The rhizomes are red and similar to the Red variety of Bucephalandra. When immersed, a blue metallic shade may appear on the leaves.
Lighting & Fertilisation
Bucephalandra kedagang thrives in low to moderate light conditions and should be grown attached to driftwood or rocks. Regular maintenance involves checking for signs of decay or algae and trimming dead or dying leaves to promote new growth. Overall, Bucephalandra kedagang is a beautiful and low-maintenance addition to aquarium landscapes, however the addition of CO2 and light fertilising will enhance growth.
