Tissue Culture Aquarium Plants | ADA & Rare In Vitro Aquascaping Plants
Tissue culture aquarium plants are grown in sterile laboratory conditions, producing clean, pest-free plants that are ideal for aquascaping. Supplied in sealed gel cups, they are free from algae, snails, and chemicals, making them one of the safest and most consistent ways to introduce plants into an aquarium. This category includes a wide range of species suitable for foreground, midground, and background planting, including carpeting plants, stem plants, and epiphytes. Each cup contains multiple plantlets, offering excellent value and flexibility when planting. We also stock rare and premium tissue culture selections from ADA Aqua Design Amano, giving access to some of the highest-quality aquascaping plant varieties and genetics available. Before planting, simply rinse away the gel and separate the plantlets into small portions. Once planted into aquasoil or attached to hardscape, they quickly adapt to submerged growth conditions. While suitable for all aquarium types, they perform best under stable conditions with good lighting and optional CO₂. Explore our tissue culture range to build a clean, pest-free, and highly controlled aquascape.
