Red Rili Shrimp

Neocaridina Species

Red Rili Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are striking freshwater shrimp that combine vivid colour with elegant transparency. Their head and tail display a bold, ruby-red hue, while the central portion of the body is clear or lightly tinted, creating the distinctive “Rili” pattern. This contrast makes them stand out beautifully in planted aquariums, especially against lush green foliage. Their legs and antennae often carry a faint red tint, adding to their visual appeal. Hardy, active, and peaceful, Red Rili Shrimp are ideal for community tanks, aquascapes, and nano aquariums, where they also contribute to algae control and overall tank cleanliness.
