Orange Rili Shrimp
Neocaridina Species
Orange Rili Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are vibrant freshwater shrimp known for their striking two-tone pattern. They feature a bold, bright orange head and tail, contrasted by a transparent or lightly coloured midsection that gives them their distinctive “Rili” appearance. This clear band adds a sense of lightness and movement, making them especially eye-catching against green aquarium plants. Their legs and antennae often have a subtle orange tint, and the depth of colour can vary depending on genetics, diet, and tank conditions. Hardy and peaceful, Orange Rili Shrimp are perfect for adding a splash of colour to community aquariums and aquascapes while helping to keep algae under control.
