Closely related to the classic Helanthium tenellum (formerly Echinodorus tenellus), this variety is more compact, with leaf blades up to 2.5 mm wide and a fresh, mid-green tone that adds natural brightness to any aquascape.
Its subtle colour and tidy growth form make it a perfect companion for more colourful species such as Hygrophila pinnatifida or red stem plants, adding texture and contrast without overwhelming the layout.
