Vesicularia montagnei ‘Taiwan’, commonly known as Taiwan Moss, is a fine-textured, fast-growing aquatic moss prized for its soft, cascading fronds. Slightly more delicate than Christmas Moss, it adds a graceful, natural look to any aquascape with its flowing, feathery appearance.

Ideal for attaching to driftwood, rocks, or vertical surfaces, Taiwan Moss thrives in both high-tech and low-tech tanks. It’s especially popular in nature-style layouts and provides excellent shelter and biofilm grazing for shrimp and fry.

This moss requires minimal care—just trim as needed to maintain shape and prevent overgrowth. While CO₂ and good lighting will boost density and vibrancy, it can grow well without them. It also thrives in emersed setups like terrariums, Wabi-Kusa, or mist walls, maintaining its vivid green hue and structure.
