Christmas Moss attaches well to wood, rocks, and mesh, forming elegant draping curtains or compact mats depending on how it's grown and trimmed. It thrives best in moderate to high light with CO₂ supplementation but can also adapt to lower-tech setups with slower growth.

Its structure offers excellent cover for shrimp, fry, and shy species, while naturally enhancing water quality.
