Land Lotus – Aquarium Botanicals (Pack of 3)

Add a natural, tropical appearance to your aquarium with our Land Lotus Aquarium Botanicals. These dried seed pods feature distinctive rounded shapes and multiple seed cavities, making them an attractive addition to blackwater aquariums, biotope setups and natural-style aquascapes.

Their unusual structure provides visual interest while helping recreate the appearance of natural aquatic environments where fallen leaves, seed pods and other botanical materials collect along the substrate.

Natural Appearance & Texture

Land Lotus botanicals feature a distinctive seed pod structure with multiple openings and an earthy brown colouration. Each piece has its own unique shape, texture and character, making them ideal for creating a natural-looking aquarium floor.

They work particularly well alongside Indian Almond Leaves, alder cones, driftwood and other aquarium botanicals, adding variety and detail to your aquascape.

Perfect for Blackwater & Biotope Aquariums

As natural botanicals gradually break down, they can release tannins and other organic compounds into the water, potentially creating a subtle amber tint associated with blackwater environments.

Their textured surfaces also provide additional areas for biofilm to develop, which can be grazed by shrimp and other aquarium inhabitants.

How to Use

Rinse the Land Lotus pods thoroughly before adding them to your aquarium. Soaking them in clean water beforehand can help remove trapped air and encourage them to sink.

Arrange the three pods individually around your hardscape or group them together with leaf litter and other botanicals to create a natural forest-floor appearance.
