Our 6" Cholla Wood is a high-quality, thick piece of natural wood, ideal for adding both character and functionality to freshwater aquariums, shrimp tanks and aquascapes.

Unlike thinner pieces of cholla wood, these chunky sections provide a more substantial addition to your aquarium while retaining the distinctive hollow structure and textured surface that makes cholla wood especially popular with shrimp and other small aquatic inhabitants.

As the wood matures in the aquarium, its textured surface provides an excellent area for biofilm to develop, giving shrimp and other grazing inhabitants plenty of surface area to explore.
