ADA Malaya Aqua Soil - Powder 3L

ADA Malaya Powder Type is a finely textured, natural substrate specially designed for nano tanks, planting fine-rooted carpeting species, and enhancing root establishment in the early stages of an aquascape. Like its standard-grain counterpart, it recreates a soft, slightly acidic environment by gently lowering pH and carbonate hardness (KH), helping to condition tap water and support a stable, plant- and shrimp-friendly aquarium.

Thanks to its smaller grain size, Malaya Powder allows for easier planting of delicate plants like hair grass, Monte Carlo, and other tissue cultures. The fine texture holds roots securely in place, encouraging strong development and minimizing floating during planting or re-scaping.

Just like standard Malaya, the powder type absorbs carbonates from the water, which reduces KH (buffering capacity) and allows pH to drop slightly. This is particularly beneficial in hard or moderately hard tap water, where it can naturally soften and stabiliSe parameters—without needing chemical adjusters.
