How to use Green Tiger Lotus

It is suitable for larger aquariums in the background but can also be kept in the fore-midground and kept short by pruning older growth to keep it more compact.

The Green Tiger Lotus can be a nutrient-hungry plant, so providing a rich, high-quality substrate is essential for long-term health. Supplementing with root tabs is highly recommended to support sustained growth. Under high lighting conditions, the plant tends to produce shorter, more compact leaves, maintaining a low-growing form. In contrast, lower light levels will encourage the plant to send leaves toward the surface, creating a more dramatic, lily pad-style appearance.
