AF Purifying Resin targets dissolved nitrogen compounds — especially nitrates — that accumulate in densely stocked or high-bioload aquariums. It works selectively to remove these nitrogenated wastes without altering essential mineral levels required by plants and animals. By reducing nitrate load, the resin helps maintain clearer water, slows algae growth, lowers the required frequency of water changes, and supports a healthier, more balanced aquatic environment.

Usage Guide:

• Use roughly 125 ml of resin per 400 L of aquarium water.

• Place the resin inside a fine-mesh filter bag and insert into a filter basket or media reactor, ensuring constant water flow.

• When the resin noticeably darkens (typically brown), it indicates saturation and the media should be replaced or regenerated. Regeneration: soak for approximately 6 hours in a 50% chlorine bleach solution, then rinse thoroughly and soak in clean water for 24 hours.

• After regeneration or replacement, rinse well and re-use. Monitor nitrate levels to ensure the system remains under control.
