ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Ver.2 9L – Premium Aquarium Aqua Soil

ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Ver.2 9L is a premium aquarium substrate designed to support healthy aquatic plant growth while providing a natural-looking foundation for freshwater aquascapes. Developed by ADA, Amazonia Ver.2 offers excellent growing conditions for a wide range of aquatic plants while making the initial setup of a planted aquarium easier to manage.

With its natural dark colour, nutrient-supporting properties and versatile grain size, Amazonia Ver.2 is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.

Supports Healthy Aquatic Plant Growth

Amazonia Ver.2 provides a suitable environment for aquatic plant roots to establish and develop. It is ideal for a wide range of aquarium plants, including Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, carpeting plants and popular stem plants.

The soil also helps lower pH and KH, creating slightly acidic, softer water conditions preferred by many tropical aquatic plants.

Includes Amazonia Supplement

One of the key features of Amazonia Ver.2 is the included Amazonia Supplement, which allows you to add extra nutrients beneath the substrate during setup.

This gives you greater control over nutrient availability, making it particularly useful for heavily planted areas and root-feeding plants.

Natural Appearance for Aquascaping

The dark brown granules create a beautiful contrast against vibrant green plants, colourful stems, aquarium wood and decorative rocks.

Its natural appearance makes it particularly well suited to Nature Aquarium, Iwagumi, Dutch-style and other planted aquascapes.

How to Use

Spread ADA Amazonia Ver.2 across the base of your aquarium, creating a gentle slope towards the back to add depth to your aquascape.

For additional nutrition, distribute the included Amazonia Supplement across the aquarium base before adding the soil, concentrating it in areas where demanding or heavily root-feeding plants will be positioned.

Plant directly into the substrate and fill the aquarium slowly to avoid disturbing the granules.

Tip: For detailed foreground planting, add a thin layer of ADA Amazonia Ver.2 Powder over the standard soil. The finer granules make it easier to plant delicate carpeting plants such as Monte Carlo, Glossostigma and Eleocharis.
